QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PATIENT SAFETY CORE IN HOSPITAL UNITS OF THE SESAP/RN OWN NETWORK
Health Assessment and Monitoring; Patient Safety; Management for Continuous Quality Improvement.
Introduction: Health occurs within a complex context, people and structures need to be well involved, trained, documented, and with minimum organizational apparatus for risk management at all points of health care to satisfaction, a point that must be well based on the local management of Patient Safety, the body legally responsible for this is the Patient Safety Center. In Brazil, the 2013 National Patient Safety Program aims to contribute to the quality of care provided, recently we had a strong ally in the global context, the Global Action Plan for Patient Safety 2021-2030, whose ultimate objective is to achieve reduce preventable harm due to unsafe healthcare as much as possible globally. That said, it is necessary to strengthen the Patient Safety Centers and we seek in this project, through a cycle of quality improvement, to enable opportunities for improvement in the structuring of NSPs, and thus contribute to quality health care. Objective: Improvement of the structural and documentary consolidation of the Patient Safety Centers of Hospitals within the SESAP network. Methodology: Quality improvement analysis study, of the Action Research type, in the Patient Safety Centers of Hospitals in the SESAP/RN network. Preliminary results: Contribute to the improvement of Patient Safety Centers and consequently to patient safety management.
