SPACE MOBILITY OF TEACHERS AND PROPER TEACHING OFFER IN BRAZIL BETWEEN 2013 AND 2017
Secondary school ; Spatial mobility; Adequacy of teacher training; Brazil
In approaches involving the adequacy between training and subject taught by teachers in secondary education, as a result of the performance of schools nationwide, there is a gap that has not yet been noticed in the literature on educational debates. In addition, the offer of a composite index that represents the provision of adequate secondary education has been scarce in the literature on demography of education, especially using the School Census database in Brazil, provided by the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research "Anísio Teixeira" (INEP). One of the results is that the spatial mobility of teachers can be configured as a factor that, associated with the school characteristics, presents an imbalance in the aforementioned offer. Accordingly, this research aims to develop an index corresponding to the characteristics of schools and teachers to highlight their importance in the performance of high school students. The microdata from the School Censuses (2013 and 2017) will be the main source of information. And, to achieve the proposed objectives, it is intended to use methods that correlate the importance of each phenomenon in the condition of the school to present an adequate offer through different conditions in different geographical areas of the country.
