The practice of physical activity is essential for the improvement and maintenance of the one's health and has been increasingly recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO), as part of a public health policy. In Brazil and in all over the world, outdoor´s gym (OG) have been created in public spaces with the purpose of providing the population with the opportunity to practice physical activity, in order to minimize morbidity and mortality rates and costs with the treatment of diseases, represented by expenses such as medicines, hospitalization, surgeries, rehabilitation, hospitalization, among others. However, it is verified that in several Brazilian cities, including Parnamirim city, in Rio Grande do Norte Brazilian State, that outdoor´s gym (OG) need adequate facilities and equipments, recuring maintenance, and also teams of professionals who welcome and orient the population to practice physical exercise. This scenario leads to low adherence, atendance, and permanence of the users of those public spaces, regarding the practice of physical activity. It also increases the chance of users injuring themselves or worsening injuries already installed, due to lack of proper guidance and instructions about how to use the gym´s equipments. It also contributes to the non-fulfillment of the goals defined by global and local public policies. This project aims to identify the users profile and the physical activities performed by them in the outdoor´s gym, analyze the existing programs, analyze the practice of exercise performed by the users and the risks associated with musculoskeletal injuries, and also evaluate the performance of the adopted management system in the outdoor´s gym (OG), which may interfere with the quality of physical practices. In the end, the goal is to propose guidelines and actions aimed at improving the program of physical activities of users of the outdoor Gym. The research proposed here will be carried out in OG´s located in Parnamirim city, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. In order to do so, a mapping of the OG´s located in the city will be carried out, and then a case study will take place, in which the method of the Ergonomic Work Analysis-EWA and the associated observational and interactional techniques will be adopted. The study subjects will be formed by users of the OG´s that practice physical activities. The aim of this research is to contribute to the improvement of public policies related to physical activities practices carried out in OG´s
