Law No. 8666/93 on Bids and Contracts establishes rules for public administration bids and contracts, however after formal administrative contracts there is not always an efficient contractual management, resulting in the non-execution of the contract and losses for the Administration. In this regard, the present study will deal with the importance of information flow in the management of administrative contracts. The objective of this research will be to analyze the information flow of contract management in a Federal Institution of Higher Education to improve its execution. To achieve the general objective of this research, the specific objectives were outlined: To identify the legal requirements for the management and inspection of administrative contracts; description of how administrative contracts are managed and the information flow in the unit of analysis; Develop an intervention proposal with improvements in the flow of information in the process of monitoring administrative contracts. In this way, applied research will be carried out, descriptive with a qualitative approach, where documentary research, application of questionnaires and semi-structured changes will be used as a data collection technique.
