SUMMARY:

The Triennial Action Plan of the Undergraduate Courses (PATCG) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) was approved at the end of 2017 though Resolution Nº 181/2017 – CONSEPE, contemplating the Policy of improving the quality of Undergraduate and Graduate established in the Institutional Deselopment Plan (PDI) of this institution. Follwing this approval, all undergraduate courses at that university were responsible for building the PATCG in order to develop strategies to address the weaknesses presented and to guide actions to improve the indicators that are generated and disseminated by the National Higher Education Evaluation System (SINAES). From the observations made with the delivery of the first version of the Plans in 2018, this research intends to establish na optimized information flow for the PATCG of the courses of the UFRN Center for Social and Applied Sciences, inserted in the contexto of na Information Policy. For this, the following objectives were defined: identify the elements and aspects of information and knowledge management that can contribute to the elaboration of the plans, describe the current informational flow, identify the successful points and weaknesses of the courses and propose together to the research subjects, improvement opportunities for the informational flow. It is na applied research of qualitative approach and classified as descriptive. Data collection will take place through a semi-structured interview with all coordinators of CCSA undergraduate courses, through a censos investigation, with the intention of producing na information flow model based on the Choo model for PATCG, from experiences and expectations of the subjects themselves. It is intended to perform the data analysis through the contente analysis technique. It is believed that this study can contribute to the  construction of PATCG and the improvemente of courses.
