RESUMO:

We live in a world where information and knowledge have become valuable assets for organizations. Considering the importance of thinking about the activities of divulgation and relationship with the internal and external publics of a sector such as the Pró-Reitoria de Extensão (PROEX) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), so that they can provoke the desired interaction and generate content sharing, this study aims to understand how PROEX establishes communication with its internal and external public through its page on Facebook. In order to meet this purpose, we have, as specific objectives: to verify, through cybermetrics, and the indicators of visibility, time and cybermetric impact factor, how the PROEX Facebook page is being perceived; identify the existing communication flows in PROEX and propose na action plan for PROEX communication on Facebook. For this purpose, a qualitative and descriptive applied research is carried out with the following methodological steps: documentary research on the subject, the application of individualized questionnaires with the manager and with the scholarship holders of the PROEX Technical Advisor (sector responsible for management of organizational information in the media and digital social networks) and by the ethnographic silent observation of the posts that are carried out on the PROEX Facebook page. Then, the data obtained will be analyzed through the technique of content analysis, so that we can obtain the necessary subsidies for the elaboration of an action plan that guides the actions of the sector in its organizational communication in the digital media and social networks.
