RESUMO:

The university, throughout its history, always exercised a leading role in society by teaching and citizens intellectual training for economics acting. However, this passive role of promoting education has not been enough to guarantee the knowledge universalization, and the university is called to act in another plan: the Entrepreneurial University. This theme is very clear in the concept titled Triple Helix, which is the interactive relationship between three independent agents, although economically collaborative: University, Government and Industry. This tripod forms a Knowledge Network, in which the university acts as an agent responsible for ensuring the transfer of knowledge and promoting entrepreneurship through methods to produce innovation. In this sense, it is appropriate and opportune to develop mechanisms to facilitate he transfer of knowledge. Design Thinking, in this research, it will be used for this proposal, because is an approach that aims to solve problems in a collective and collaborative way, emphasizing the intercalation between divergent thinking (expansion of ideas) and convergent thinking (refinement of ideas). In this iterative process, what is sought is innovation through the pooling and exchange of knowledge between a knowledge network (formal or informal) composed by members of multidisciplinary areas. Suggesting the adoption of Design Thinking as a model of knowledge transfer in the UniversityIndustry interaction, specifically, is justified by the understanding that these are the actors with the greatest capacity to generate interchangeable products, processes and innovations, while the Government acts with greater emphasis in the promotion and financing of these relations. In this sense, the present study aims to propose a knowledge transfer framework for the Bioinformatics Multidisciplinary Environment of Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (BioME/UFRN) inspired by Design Thinking. This nucleus acts in two channels: the conduction of a postgraduate course and the offer of bioinformatics products and services, being, therefore, a reliable representation of the UniversityIndustry interaction. The specific objectives are: i) characterize the UniversityIndustry interaction as a context of knowledge transfer; ii) characterize the Design Thinking process through elements present in the literature. iii) establish the types of innovation that will make part of the framework through elements present in the literature and; iv) establish the validation criteria of the framework's contributions through a BioME's specialists consult. The methodological procedures use DRM (Design Research Methodology), a methodology developed to establish the assumptions of a design research. The preliminary framework is presented in this proposal and it is intended to use the Delphi Technique to refine and implement it in collaboration with BioME specialists.
