RESUMO:

This research aims to identify and describe the tools and practices based on the principles of Knowledge Management that are being used today in the EBSERH network - Empresa Brasileira de Serviços Hospitalares (Brazilian Hospital Services). It is justified by the fact that there is not yet a diversity of research carried out within the scope of university hospitals, administered by EBSERH, considering the recognition of the tools and practices of Knowledge Management adopted to improve organizational performance. The research approach is qualitative, with a descriptive focus on the objectives, using the strategy of the case study. As a method of data collection, the present study will include an interview with the top management of the organization. To analyze the data will be used the technique of content analysis, with the help of software QSR NVivo. The conclusions of the present study are expected to contribute to elucidating the gaps in knowledge management tools and practices currently used in the EBSERH network.
