RESUMO:

This research aims to propose a model of communication between alumnis production engineering course at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and course managers, in order to facilitate the planning and management of continuing education courses and activities. The research, of mixed approach, adopts the quadripolar method, which is recommended for scientific research in the area of Applied Social Sciences. The use of more flexible form of the elements influencing scientific practice, peculiarity of this method, made possible the construction of research instruments – electronic questionnaire for alumnis, and interview, for managers - interconnecting the concepts inherent to the object of study, strengthening the research.
