SUMMARY:

The Teaching of Bioethics (EB) is part of the curricular basis of the Multiprofessional Residency Programs in Health (PRMS) and seeks to guide the training of human resources with skills for a practice implied with knowledge, skills and attitudes in bioethics. Our purpose is to analyze how this training happens both from theoretical / practical assumptions described in the Pedagogical Projects (PP) of the PRMS, as well as in the field, with the articulation of the contents of Bioethics in daily hospital practice. This is an exploratory study of a qualitative nature. Our corpus consists of the PP of the seven PRMS and semi-structured interviews carried out with the preceptors (as). We chose this specific people because they consider that they offer a strategic view of the practices in the field. We are evaluating these materials with support of documentary and content analysis (framework approach), respectively. So far we have analyzed the totality of PPs and conducted 11 interviews, eight of which have already been analyzed. In this aspect, we verify the sample saturation. The analysis of the projects points to the forecast of the discipline of Bioethics with a workload of 20 hours. Like other authors, we see two trends in EB: one focused on broader human aspects and another that prioritizes professional behaviors. In the field, most preceptors are unaware of the EB aspect in the training of residents and points out weaknesses in their practical performance. In the next stages of the work, we will expand the analysis of curricular limits and weaknesses in the field. In addition, we will seek to better analyze the barriers and potential to qualify EB in PRMS, expanding the discussion with the current scientific literature.
