RESUMO:

Fall is the third most adverse event notified by the national agency of sanitary surveillance (ANVISA) in the hospital environment, causing disability and dependence in people over 60 years. This study aims to develop a strategy for education for residents of the multiprofessional residency in health (RMPS) in programmes of Cardiology and intensive care of the adult in the identification of risk of falls in hospitalized patients in HUOL. It is a qualitative research, descriptive-exploratory type, being the sample established by the total population of first-year residents of RMPS, developed in the period from August to December 2018. For data collection, we used a semi-structured questionnaire prior to basic knowledge on the subject and a focal group, with 12 participants from the fields of nursing, physical therapy, pharmacy and nutrition, using a script prepared with open questions for discussion, being mediated by a facilitator, a moderate. The conversations were recorded and transcribed in full; After that, the data were organized by the NVIVO12 software and the analysis of the content of the speeches by BARDIN's approach. The methodological path for the development of teaching strategy consisted of three stages: first, the focal group, as active teaching methodology; the second, a distance activity registered in SIGAA for the collective construction of suggestions of the Protocol for the prevention of falls of HUOL, with multidisciplinary approach; and finally, the email of a feedback form at the end of the cycle of activities. As for the expected results, was the detection of patients at risk of falls; the need for permanent education in health continuously under about hospital; the integration of service professionals to work in an interdisciplinary way team; and the periodic review of protocols for the reduction of falls in HUOL. It is expected that this work will contribute in the advancement of the teaching learning process in multiprofessional residence in health, personal construction of knowledge by means of team interaction; on relevance to scientific knowledge in the area of prevention of falls; and finally, for the integral care and humanized of inpatients.
