The reality of life and health of people increasingly demand a new logic of training of health professionals, so that transformations happen in the reality of health services, with professionals more able to work in teams to cope with the complexity and dynamicity of needs of people's health. In this context, Interprofessional Education (IPE) is presented as a strategic approach for greater interaction between residents of different backgrounds in the practice scenarios, allowing learning among specific areas of training, improving the quality of patient care. The research aims to: discuss the potentials and limitations of basic care as a space for the implementation of (IPE) from the perceptions of students of the Multiprofessional Residency in Basic Care and Residency in Family Medicine and Community the MSMS; Conduct training workshops in Inter-Professional Education for students of the Multiprofessional Residency in Primary Care and Residency in Family and Community Medicine; Insert the students of Multiprofessional Residency in Primary Care and Residency in Family and Community Medicine in the reality of the production of the health services of the Family Health Strategy; To know the perceptions of Multiprofessional Residency in Primary Care and Residency in Family and Community Medicine on the experience of Interprofessional Education in the Family Health Strategy. Research of qualitative approach and adopted as design the action research, in that it established a broad interaction between researcher and the phenomenon to be investigated. The present study was carried out in the municipality of Caicó / RN, more specifically in the training and work dynamics of the Family Health Strategy, having as subjects of the study Residents of the Multiprofessional Residency Program in Primary Care and Residency in Family Medicine and Community of the Multicampi School of Medical Sciences (MSMS) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, which proposes the implementation of EIP and aims, above all, shared and collective care through the dynamics of teamwork, configuring health work as a space for a training model more coherent with the needs of health of the population. The research had three stages: a workshop where the principles of EIP were discussed; implementation of interprofessional practices in the reality of the production of basic health services and focus groups to explore the experience of the experience of collaborative work. In these phases were adopted as instruments of data collection: narratives, field diaries and a guide for the focus groups. It was adopted the technique of analysis of thematic content that presupposes the stages of pre-analysis; exploitation of the material or coding; treatment of the results obtained, inference and interpretation. The research was submitted and approved to the Research Ethics Committee (REC), of the University Hospital Onofre Lopes (UHOL), observing CNS Resolution 466/12. Data processing allowed the following categories to be built: shared learning, comprehensive health care, user participation appreciation, reduced time for interprofessional practices.
