RESUMO:

INTRODUCTION: Medical residency is a valuable moment in the formation of the future specialist, where through the teaching-learning process in service, these experience several experiences with the patients, shared with the multi-professional team under the supervision of its preceptors. OBJECTIVE: to implement the 360-degree assessment among gynecology and obstetrics residents. METHODS: A longitudinal, descriptive, qualitative and quantitative cohort study was carried out, in which 23 of the 24 residents of gynecology and obstetrics (GO) of MEJC participated, in which a 360-degree evaluation was applied by 26 preceptors. For the implementation of the new evaluative model, two stages were programmed, the first being the in-service training of the multi-professional team to use the Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise (miniCEX) and other forms; the second was the beginning of 360-degree assessments of gynecology and obstetrics residents by preceptors. Data collection was carried out between March and October of the current year. A total of 92 360 ° evaluations were distributed among the 23 residents, and all 04 forms that compose this assessment were answered. The results were stored in a database in an Excel / Office 2010 software worksheet, and ANOVA was used to evaluate the differences between the means of the groups, followed by the Tukey test. RESULTS: In the evaluation of the results according to the analysis of the physicians and nurses, except for the variables communication and relationship with the multi-professional team, teamwork, punctuality, availability, all other variables analyzed were statistically significant (p <0.05). The competences of R1 (One Year Medical Resident) obtained lower scores of R2 (Second Year Medical Resident) and R3 (Third Year Medical Resident). Regarding the link of the pairs, in the analysis of the medical knowledge, there was difference between the means (p = 0.029), showing that the R3 are the most knowledgeable bearers. Still, in this evaluation this R3, were also the residents who presented greater difficulty about health team (p = 0.008). In the self-evaluation, the R 1 physicians showed differences in the variables: medical knowledge, integrity, psychosocial aspects of the disease, management of complex problems and responsibility and obtained the lowest scores about R2 and R3 (p <0.05). CONCLUSION: The implementation of the 360-degree evaluation as an evaluation method in the PRMGO, through this work, will contribute to the improvement in the training of future specialists who, inserted in society, can develop proactive attitudes allowing a superior health care to the population. There is a need to invest in continuing education so that preceptors are stimulated and better trained within the process of teaching-learning, as trainers of professionals with a holistic view of medicine.
