SUMMARY:

This work aims to present reflections and study and performance strategies about the pieces “[cello]” (2021), by Tomás Cabado, and “Rastra” (2021), by Diego Taranto. The methodology used (proper of artistic research, according to Robin Nelson and López-Cano, among others), proposes a theoretical and conceptual framework to think about the performance of this kind of repertoire, and we enrich these reflections with conversations with the composers of the pieces themselves.In the dissertation ways of approaching the works are presented and that can be useful for other contemporary cello repertoires.
