This Professional Master's qualification assignment consists of a draft of a Sustainable Community Center, situated in Guarapes district, west administrative region of Natal/Rio Grande do Norte, with an emphasis on constructive alternatives with low environmental impact aligned with bioclimatic strategies and a technical report. In the last years, the search for new building systems is constant, since natural resources are finite. What is intend to present in this assignment is the utilization of an ancestral, sustainable and little explored building system. The Earth architecture emerges as a viable solution for the advancement of environmental degradation since the construction system has countless advantages regarding its use. This assignment does not intend to make cement as a disused material, but to present the construction with Earth as a way of disseminating the technique for the knowledge of society and, hence, since the Guarapes district does not count with a strategic community equipment, it sought to develop the proposal for a Community Center using Earth architecture as an incentive and knowledge of this sustainable building system. For the development of the proposal, a theoretical-conceptual deepening on the subject was carried out, through a bibliographic review and studies of projects references that guided the development of the project, in the definition of the concept, entourage and architectural programming. Moreover l, the subjects studied during the Program were essential to the design process of the project, which resulted in a functional, sustainable and architectural quality proposal at the preliminary design level.
