SUMMARY:

This technical report consists of a preliminary version of the Course Completion Work (TCC), requirement for the qualification of the Professional Master in progress in the Graduate Program in Architecture, Design and Environment (PPAPMA) at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). The document presents the theoretical and technical foundation as well as the guidelines and strategies adopted in the elaboration of a technical project of architectural intervention in a building of public use, of an administrative nature, located in the Central Campus of UFRN. Poor planning can cause several losses and even compromise the idea behind the design conception, so the general objective of the work seeks to address the need to optimize the production processes with outcome in the proposal of project intervention in the administrative building of the Technology Center (CT/UFRN), with emphasis on improving the safety and functionality aspects of the building and considering the process of project compatibilization. The specific objectives are to smooth out the projective constraints (object and users), see aspects that involve risks to the functionality/safety of existing installations (according to current technical standards) and determine the importance of the project compatible procedure during the engineering services planning stage. In the development of the proposal, a vast analysis and theoretical-conceptual deepening about the theme presented will be carried out, especially through a bibliographic review, seeking authors who studied the subject more with more emphasis, in addition to verifying projective references. Next, the characteristics of the built set will be determined, as well as its wrap, taking into account, above all, the aspects related to users (safety and functionality) and defining the concept of the project proposal, which, in turn, will enable the structuring of architectural programming, the basis for characterizing the dilemmas and goals of the project. Finally, the party will be defined, with the aim of materializing the concept (previously suggested). From the studies and developments listed now and, above all, with the valuable knowledge obtained through the curricular components of the course, there must be gradual progress of the design process with characterization of each stage, through varied forms of records, in a continuous and logical sequence. Considering the suggested objectives, the work will seek, through specific architectural strategies, to enhance the characteristics of the building in the presentation of solutions to the identified problems, as well as to meet the project goals in response to the dilemmas listed in the programming stage. The use of appropriate project techniques, as well as the correct sequence of steps that constitute good planning practices, will be fundamental to obtain a final product with quality, which seeks to meet the needs of users and provide a usual and propositive architecture, besides contributing greatly to the professional development of the protagonists of the technical pieces now conceived.
