RESUMO:

The present work had as its core to elaborate a preliminary project for a multi-family building in Macaparana / PE, from the application of design strategies in its design process, with emphasis on constructive rationalization, in order to reduce material waste and shorten the execution of the work. In order to achieve this objective, the proposal was based on technical and constructive criteria that pointed out the importance of associating the modular coordination system as an integration tool between design and construction, still in the design process. The methodological procedures described the development and evolution of the proposal through graphic representations of sketches and diagrams, whose premises explored the formal aspects, adopt a standard module and identify the constructive system more in keeping with the technical limitations of the local workforce, together with economic viability. Given this assumption, the following design strategies were applied: pure forms and straight lines; geometric rigor; compaction of internal spaces; streamlined masonry; standardization of openings and structural system. In this conjecture, the last result of this research sought to contribute, therefore, with solutions that can be implemented by architects and designers, who approach the theme in question applied to the design sphere.
