ASSISTED HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY WITH GUIDELINES OF THE SEAL BLUE HOUSE CAIXA

This thesis describes the course theoretical, methodological and programmatic for the proposed architecture of a villa assisted for the elderly with guidelines of the Seal Blue House Box, located in the center of the municipality of Eusebio, metropolitan region of Fortaleza, capital of Ceará State. The target of the project are elderly people who come to the third age with health, clarity and autonomy to perform the routine activities of the day-to-day. The present study seeks to answer the following questions: How to optimize the spatial accessibility in residential condominiums for the elderly having as guidelines the Seal Blue House Box? What are the contributions of the Seal Box Blue Box to the environmental quality of architectural designs of homes for the elderly? The methodological procedures were concentrated in four phases: 1st: bibliographical research in technical standards and relevant legislation at issue; 2nd: The studies of projetuais references, with the goal of giving contribution and basis for the proposed architecture; 3th: Preparation of programming and architectural focal groups with a view to the recognition of the needs of spatial elderly; 4th: Application of theoretical in drafting the preliminary study of architectural design. The study of architectural precedents highlights characteristics of projects and buildings with potential to contribute to the development of the proposed architecture of this research. The focus groups are a tool of qualitative research (press conference) which seeks to meet the users and know what your habits and prefrências. Were also performed studies of comfort (heat and ventilation) applied to the project. The proposal includes architectural a private area on the condominium, and a public area, open to the community, with a small square, leisure and shopping in the neighborhood. The proposal presented here is only the beginning of a trajectory that seeks a solution that combines accessibility and sustainability. Become required new studies, simulations and research for the development of the final project.
