RESUMO:

This paper presents the architecture design at the level of preliminary studies for a mixed-use building (residential and commercial) with application of bioclimatic principles of environmental comfort for Natal / RN, with an emphasis on developing flexible envelopes. It presents the results of the literature review about the concept of flexibility, the search for the definition of the product from the site conditions - physical/environmental and urbanistic/legal requirements - and the indirect reference studies for the application of concepts flexible envelopes.
