SUMMARY:

The great focus given to the digital discourse, especially with regard to the current pandemic context, has aroused both personal and contextual concerns, since the impacting numbers of views on the YouTube platform grow more and more and that the video lessons channels, of the most varied contents, have gained and gain even more space. In this perspective, the research aims to define, understand, and reflect about the growing and consolidated role of video lessons on the YouTube platform, paying attention to the great evidence that the world historical context has been establishing for the digital environment. Anchored in the knowledge of Discourse Analysis, in the light of Pêcheux's studies (1995), we arrived at Digital Discourse Analysis, the central perspective of our work, reflected by Paveau (2021).  This analysis was developed from the corpus composed of 8 (eight) video lessons, 4 (four) recorded and 4 (four) live, the video lessons are from the channel Redação e Gramática Zica - the channel has more than a thousand subscribers and some videos exceed 200 thousand views. The results found so far demonstrate the nuances established by the digital environment, understanding the video lessons as a technodiscourse and, from this perspective, a digital technogenre. Regarding the aspects of the effects caused, we understand that the characteristics pointed out, especially the expansion and delinearization are mobilizers of unique effects: the expansion echoes the possibilities, both in the comments and in the online chat, of the most diverse forms of interaction that are posed to each interaction of Internet users; the delinearization also holds the universe of possibilities that are raised depending on the interface, the profile mapped by the writer's network and the interferences that may occur with each navigation.
