RESUMO:

This work aims at a critical reading of the poetic work of Luciene Carvalho, based on the hypermodernity context, and we dedicate us to her texts in a perspective of Performance Studies. We perform a reflection – based on scholars such as Gilles Lipovetsky and Zygmunt Bauman – on hypermodernity as a succession of postmodernity, and that has its beginning in the mid-1990s, thus, we understand that this comes as a new era (perhaps the era of subjectivities) and, with such rupture, new paradigms need to occupy the agenda. Thus, it was transformed both the author status, since it was modified the mode of acting of the author, as well as the general forms of being in the world of the subject. We seek to show that in a space of significant relativization of the truths that shaped societies and reverberated into the subjects, it became imperative that different ways of signifying in idiosyncratic scenarios were erected. It is in this multifaceted context that poet-performer opts for acting beyond the classic mode of relationship to writing and which results in its performances, because performance comes from the writing as an experience (corporeal) on which to inscribe its textualities. The poet-performer, in turn, when metamorphosing, often, binds to personas which are understood as devoid of sense, such as eroticism and madness, by apocalyptic actors of the hypermodernity. Resignifying these spaces, however, we seek to show that eroticism which poet-performer uses is not a lifeless and empty eroticism, but, as theorized by Bataille, eroticism is a substitute to religion on seeking to achieve the continuity in a time in which metaphysical truths are weakened. In this sense, the madness of which the author also uses makes complex her repertoire of performance in an environment of confusing configuration. The madness and its developments, then, work as points of connection and justify the metamorphoses of a subject that seeks from imbricated forms signify its existence to the world.
