RESUMO:

The african literary productions appoints to a stage of historic and cultural transformations that critically reviews it’s both oral traditions as its colonization processes, which silenced and fragmented the identity projects of its different nations.  In these frontier spaces emerges new voices that brings the valorization of the border as a contribution to the deconstruction of the notion of center in the literature, thus as a new given sense concerning the outcast vision of those who have been marginalized. About this perspective, we analyzed the multiplicities of the feminine voices found in Mozambican writer Paulina Chiziane, considered one of the first Mozambican writers in Portuguese language to publish a novel, which, by the predominance of her female characters found amongst in your work, assigns new senses for the woman’s condition both in the literature and history of Mozambique. This work presents an analysis of the book Niketche: uma história de poligamia (2004) investigating how the feminine discourse of the protagonist narrator manifests along the plot, and from this, how both voice and writing becomes elements of subversion and resistance against the woman’s condition of subalternity by the means of the literature. In order to build its fiction, the authoress finds ways of representing the nation of Mozambique, celebrating the cultural differences and involving thoughts about the woman’s condition in the Mozambique universe, a place in which the feminine find itself beleaguered by the effects of a conflict that yet needs to be won: the colonization of thoughts that influence the human behavior. We base our analysis using theories on cultural studies based on Gayatri Spivak, Homi K. Bhabha, Frantz Fanon, and Michelet Perrot works. We weave our interpretations concerning the narration of the authoress, considering the fictional, historic and cultural discourses, establishing relationships with the category chosen: the feminine discourse of her characters.
