Creative C&D: child care strategies in the Góes basic health unit, rural area in the municipality of Apodi - RN

Child psychomotor development can be affected by several factors, being observed at the UBS in Góes, a high rate of delay in speech development, loss of sleep and difficulty in accepting new foods. This study aims to evaluate the contributions of “creative C&D” in the growth and development program at the Basic Health Unit of Góes, a rural area in the municipality of Apodi/RN. Through a qualitative study, using Action Research. Two books will be used, one of which contains guidelines to help parents and/or caregivers, in addition to activities aimed at stimulating psychomotor development, and the second has recipes to help mothers, being quick, easy and cheap with the use of fresh food , produced by the residents in the region. In addition to providing multidisciplinary care during childcare consultations. Mothers of children aged 12 to 48 months who reported some of the complaints of behavioral changes will be invited to participate in the research. The evaluation will be carried out through a semi-structured interview, with open and closed questions. This work will be submitted for evaluation by the Ethics and Research Committee of the Onofre Lopes University Hospital - CEP/HUOL. The aim of this project is to provide the strengthening of the family bond, the development of the child's cognition and psychomotricity, in addition to allowing access to unprecedented and free quality material.
