SUMMARY:

This project addresses the theme "Evaluation of the Implementation of the Quality Management and Improvement Program (PGMQ) in the improvement of Internal Audits of Federal Institutions of Higher Education in the Northeast", which arose because auditing is a strategic activity of the agencies, so that it is essential to verify whether the PGMQ is contributing to the improvement of auditing activities. The present work aims to evaluate the implementation of the PGMQ in the internal audits of the IFES, through documentary analysis and questionnaires applied to managers and teams, based on the question: How has the implementation of the Management and Quality Improvement Program been occurring, seeking to understand how it contributes to improving the control practices of the UAIGs in the context of the Federal Institutes of Higher Education and outlining a panorama with the evaluation of this implementation and the adjunct benefits for the UAIGs.
