SUMMARY:

The present study aims to analyze the practices of intralogistics management of the physical supply of consumables in the municipal government of Caicó regarding the structuring of the processes. The work is justified by the search for administrative efficiency in the various management processes that need to be constantly improved by the State, or even when it delegates this role to its municipal spheres. Internal logistics management has repercussions
on the institutions' core activities, in addition to emphasizing that a management weakness can mean stored resources, and this comes from taxpayers through taxes, and it is the State's duty to guarantee the continued provision of public services. Furthermore, the internal practices of logistics that are sometimes relegated to the background in the literature on public policy management. As a methodology, the research is classified as a case study, whose unit of analysis is the practices of internal logistics management institutionalized in the Department
of Material and Heritage of the Municipality of Caicó. The collection will take place through field research, with the help of questionnaires and non-participant observation and document analysis.
