SUMMARY:

The Federal Government has sought to strengthen public integrity by monitoring bodies and entities of the federal executive power in the establishment of Integrity Programs. In the set of bodies and entities of the federal executive power, Brazilian federal universities are included in the list of institutions to adopt Integrity Programs. In 2018, CGU Ordinance No. 1,089/2018 defined guidelines, stages and deadlines for federal agencies to create their own integrity programs, with mechanisms to prevent, detect, remedy and punish fraud and acts of corruption. Among the commitments demanded are the establishment and organization of units and instruments related to integrity, necessary for the proper functioning of the programs. With this, the present dissertation project aims to evaluate the implementation of the Integrity Plan of the Federal University of Cariri. The six dimensions of Draibe's theoretical model (2001) will be adopted to conduct the research. Methodologically, a qualitative approach was chosen, through documentary research in the context of the documents surrounding the UFCA Integrity Plan and the national legislation on governance, as well as semi-structured interviews with the implementers of the UFCA Integrity Plan. . Content analysis will be used as a technique for handling the contents of the interviews. The evaluative research aims to evaluate the current design, its results and how it may interfere in the implementation of the plan throughout the management of the institutional processes that involve the integrity program.
