SUMMARY:

The bidding is the formal administrative procedure in which the Public Administration acquires materials and contracts services, among which the contracting of Information Technology solutions. At the Universidade Federal do Cariri (UFCA), the institution chosen as the object of study of this project, the Information Technology Directorate (DTI) is the unit responsible for these processes, presenting a large volume of purchases and supplying all bodies with end and middle activities. Institution. So, the existence of unmanaged risks in the process leads to a lack of equipment or support of specialized materials and services that generate negative impacts on the execution of the activities of the entire university. In this sense, it was established as a general objective to propose a Risk Management plan for the processes of contracting IT solutions at DTI/UFCA. Therefore, in addition to the literature review of related concepts, documental research and interaction with the servers directly involved with this activity in the institution will be carried out. It is expected with this work to contribute to the management of risks and the expansion of knowledge about the threats that permeate the hiring process, especially IT, at this University, providing managers with a plan that collaborates in achieving the strategic objectives of the sector
