SUMMARY:

The dissertation project aims to carry out a diagnosis of the administration sector of the Maternity School Januário (responsible for managing purchases, bids, contracts, assets and administrative supervision of contracts) with a focus on strategy and competence management using as a reference Management Development by Skills - GDC instituted in the organization. The competency management model encompasses the organizational strategy working as a system in constant adaptation and continuous improvement. The organization's strategy feeds the diagnosis of the professional skills needed by the institution and nourishes the formulation of operational work and management plans that will be monitored through performance indicators. The project will use SWOT analysis as a diagnostic tool to survey the current situation of the administration sector in terms of its capacity to face challenges and achieve the intended objectives. It will also identify existing skills gaps and align its goals with the institution's GDC.
