SUMMARY:

Family farming plays an important role in the national economic scenario and is becoming increasingly the object of public policies that foster local development and provide farmers with a better quality of life while promoting access to healthy food. Given the potential of the Federal Public Administration to purchase, Decree No. 8,473, of June 22, 2015, established a minimum percentage of the resource received by the agencies that should be destined to the acquisition of food from family farmers through the waiver of bidding. In this sense, the present dissertation proposal aims to verify the compliance with the rules by the Brazilian Air Force, as well as to evaluate the implementation and execution of public policy at the national level. This is a descriptive and exploratory research, qualitative approach and characterized as a case study. Data will be obtained through documentary research and individual interviews with semi-structured scripts and treated through content analysis. Thus, it is expected to identify eventual limitations and innovations in the processes, as well as their reflexes in the organizations.
