RESUMO:

In the face of the political and economic context of cuts on the governmental budget and the need of efficient public services, the continuous assesment ob the implementation of public policies spreads - for only through such analysis onde can possibly identify its flaws, correct them and propose improvements to the managing team, which may avoid unnecessary expenses and ensure the goals are properly reached. This project aims to evaluate the implementation of the Student Health Care Program for the IFPB Student Assistence Policy in two distinct campi set up during the second phase of RFEPCT expansion plan according to Draibe's evaluation model (2001) adapted to the program's competence. In doing so, the theory which supports the research approaches: the policy cycle at every stage, focusing on the implementation - with special emphasis to implementers' role on directing such policy, and it's avaluation - which is a particular subsection, emphasising the evaluation of processes. Besides student assistance on federal institutes of education, mainly, the importance of universal programs to prevent students' evasion and the colaboration on reaching the goals of the Students Assistance National Program. The research's methodology will have a qualitative, exploratory approach, and will also count with the partake of assistants and implementers from the campi in Patos and Monteiro. Data collection will be composed of field research, bibliographic and documental research with a semi-structured script for eventual interviews. We shall use Bardin content analysis technique (2011) for the data analysis.
