RESUMO:

This intervention proposal aims proportionality um model of Participatory Budgeting for Campus Picuí the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba that contemplates the wishes of their academic community. Therefore, it has specific objectives describe the current process of drafting, execution and control of the budget part of IFPB Campus Picuí; verify the perception of the academic community about the benefits and limitations of the current model, and their aspirations in terms of participation in the various stages of the budget process; and indicate the format and the operating dynamics of the participatory budget that best suits the Campus Picuí reality. To achieve the objectives of this intervention proposal, will be held applied research and exploratory-descriptive with qualitative and quantitative approach. Use action research as the main strategy of research and a complement to survey strategy (survey) to collect the necessary data. As data collection technique uses the interview, documentary research and participant observation. The data collected will be treated with the help of descriptive statistics and the described method.
