SUMMARY:

Transformations in society and in the health-disease process in Brazil highlight the importance of having professionals and services that act according to health needs, in order to strengthen the precepts of the SUS. In this perspective, emphasis is placed on interprofessional, collaborative work, through emancipatory education practices, which promote the theoretical-practical connection, to be developed in the undergraduate and graduate fields. Thus, this study aims to analyze how academic training takes place in Higher Education Institutions and in Multiprofessional Residency Programs in Health in Northeast Brazil. The study population is made up of second-year residents linked to the Multidisciplinary Residency Programs in Health in the Northeast of Brazil whose area of concentration is the following denominations: Family Health, Family and Community Health, Primary Care, Primary Health Care and Collective Health. Data collection will be carried out in two moments, considering that a quantitative study and a qualitative study will be developed. Quantitative data will be collected through a self-completed electronic questionnaire on the google forms platform, based on the socio-demographic characteristics of the participants and questions that aim to understand aspects of the resident's training trajectory in graduation and residency. For the qualitative study, interviews will be conducted based on a semi-structured script, through an online meeting platform (google meet). As preliminary results of the study, it is identified that the majority of participants are female, with less than 5 years of graduation training, aged less than 30 years. The place of graduation training took place, for the most part, in public institutions, in the interior of the States of Brazil. It is noteworthy that most of the aspects judged by the residents, such as interprofessionality, permanent education and communication, were experienced more intensely in the PRMS. While in the evaluation of the PRMS it is seen that interprofessionality is the best evaluated item and the support of the preceptors was evaluated with the lowest concepts.
