SUMMARY:
This work aims, firstly, to carry out a brief historiographical approach to the constitution of 'neopaganism' as a historical category, as well as to discuss the polysemy of the concept, highlighting its temporalities and the relations of neopagans with certain spatialities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. We analyzed the experiences and sociability of neopagans from Teresina, both those that occurred 'in person' and those that were forged through cyberspaces. The purpose is to show that, at first, the internet was an important tool not only to know or spread neopaganism, but also enabled the construction of a neopagan cyberculture that connected them on a daily basis, whether among the subjects of the group itself or with others neopagans throughout the world. Using various documentary supports produced by neopagans from Teresina, we seek to understand how these subjects founded and systematized the polytheistic religious aspect called 'Paganism Piaga' as well as historicizing the construction and use of Vila Pagã (located in the rural area of the municipality of José de Freitas-PI , about 30km from the capital Teresina) as a sacred space. The time frame of this research takes place in the context of the years 2007-2021, in which, in order to establish these discussions, we start, in each chapter, from some antinomies that cross the foundations and systematizations of the concept of 'neopaganism' and of Piaganism, such as in order to locate their due temporalities.
