SUMMARY:

ABSTRACT: Starting from a prospective position of History, in which it is closely evaluated in relation to the levels and levels of production, this research deals with the most varied spatialities linked to the Zapatista Movement, so that they understand space as an actor in actions, symbolic, discursive, selected and subjective constructions of this rich and complex social-indigenous movement. Looking at how different spatial dimensions, crossing or local, national, international and metaphorical / symbolic / imagery / aesthetic of their construction as a historical movement, as zapatistas of space - which we bring here as fragments of a mosaic - are investigated in order to reveal hidden shadows history of the movement, as well as Mexico and the world - and contribute to a deeper historical analysis of the historical process that culminated in the armed upheaval of these indigenous people in the state of Chiapas - and, in the same way, offer new perspectives for worldviews , identities, cultures and histories that build the Mexican and world scene, from the context of globalization and geopolitical relations ideologically linked to neoliberalism. For this, we have primary sources such as official Zapatista speeches, as well as representations about Zapatistas that contribute to the understanding of their signs and symbols. In short, our proposal is to provoke new historical provocations from this movement and its relations with spaces in the search for a new Mexico and new sociability for a new world.
