RESUMO:

ABSTRACT This dissertation proposes to análise how the comic book produced by the “Editora Brasil América (EBAL)” were articulated with the State in the process official National identity formation between 1950 to 1970. Among the tools used to strengthen the National identity discourses, the comic books occupy a Spotlight place because the movement of pedagogization of comic books, in which they were forwarded to schools in order to humiliate the student to understand their country's history. In this interim, to comprehend the formation André fusion process official identity, a bibliography about image, identity, and formation of nation, periodic and National comic book will be used. Then, we will accomplish a case study of the publication “An Intendência do Brasil em Quadrinhos”, publicações in 1970 by EBAL, aiming to perceive the importance of this publication in the legitimation BN of the identitary process after the Coup of 1964.
