SUMMARY:

Background: muscular dystrophies are a group of diseases of genetic origin characterized by progressive muscle weakness, which leads to the absence or inadequate formation of essential proteins in muscle cells. Although rare, when combined they present considerable prevalence and incidence. Although studies demonstrate therapeutic evolutions and new approaches, it is still possible to observe the lack of studies, guidelines, clinical trials and systematic reviews about motor interventions in children and young adolescents with muscular dystrophy. Objective: identify interventions with emphasis on motor rehabilitation in children and young adolescents with muscular dystrophy. Methodology: The elaboration of the protocol followed the guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute, according to the following structure: (1) identification of the research question, (2) inclusion criteria, (3) identification of relevant studies, (4) studies selection, (5) data mapping, (6) comparison, summary and reporting of results. To ensure inter-rater reliability, 20% of the sample was independently reviewed and compared by the two team members. Parcial Results: 11,009 articles were found in the databases, and 15 were selected for data extraction.
