SUMMARY:

Electromagnetic waves that propagate in magnetic crystals can be coupled with spin waves
(or magnons) excited in these media, forming hybrid modes called magnon-polaritons.
For a long time, these modes have been studied in different materials and geometries,
with potential application in the development of devices which works at frequencies in
the microwave region to the far-infrared. Recent results have shown that the inclusion of
layers, especially graphene layers, causes changes in the polaritons behavior associated
with the direction of an applied static magnetic field. In this work, a theoretical study of
polaritons of magnons will be developed in three structures: semi-infinite medium, thin
film and periodic superlattice, that are composed of gyromagnetic materials with graphene
layers at their interfaces, with an applied magnetic field perpendicular to interfaces.
