RESUMO:

It is known that Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) has an impact on the health of individuals and is supported by a multi-factor network that culminates in the various chronic consequences. Of the factors that can directly influence the severity and the interference of the disease we have the sleep alterations. The Brazilian scenario regarding the large number of cases of people with Lupus still needs to be investigated, highlighting the city of Natal / RN, reported in the literature as the Brazilian capital with the largest number of LES carriers. Multiple organ involvement, photosensitivity, rashes, arthritis and neuropsychiatric involvement are characteristic of patients with Lupus Systemic Erythematosus, which also has an impact on the psychosocial sphere. The objective of this study was to relate sleep disorders, fatigue and chronic pain resulting from Systemic Lupus Erythematosus with subjective markers of sleepiness, anxiety, perceived stress and depression, as well as objective pain and activity rhythm and rest markers , together with the analysis of the the reduction of natural light and alteration in the exposure to night light. The research design is characterized as a cross-sectional observational study with the collection of patients' residences (for physically limited patients) and the Laboratory of Neurobiology and Biological Ritmicity (LNRB) of UFRN, where 8 validated questionnaires will be applied, divided into 2 meetings interspersed by the use of the Actimeter. Regarding the statistical analysis, we will first carry out the descriptive statistical analysis of the variables obtained including the determination of the characteristic of the distribution of each variable and later the inferential statistical analysis in order to seek relations between the variables mentioned above.
