RESUMO:

Parental investment exists to increase reproductive success in the short and long term and for this investment is expected to find traits of behavior that indicate that individuals are trying to increase the chances of success in the reproduction of their offspring. In humans, parental investment can be observed at different stages in the children's lives, both at birth and in adulthood, during the process providing good nutrition, good education, good health, comfort and stability. It is necessary to take into account the resources that are available, such as the conditions of the environment where they reside, the income the family has, the number of children and the sex of each child, na then a strategy that evaluates the best return for each investment is unconsciously drawn. The survey will be conducted in parents who have at least two children over the age of 18, with at least one child of the opposite sex. A constructed task will be applied to analyze which child has obtained the most resources and questionnaires with questions about each child containing the perspective of health, the perspective of professional success and socioeconomic data of the parent.
