SUMMARY:

What is the meaning of life? How do our daily actions impart sense and expressiveness to our lives? This classic question is explored from the perspective of philosopher Susan Wolf, who contends that actions motivated by love are essential for a significant life. However, not just any love-driven acts matter, but only those directed towards what is worthy of love. Despite the compelling nature of this idea, it poses a significant axiological challenge: how to determine what is worthy of being loved? The aim of this research is to elucidate Wolf's thesis and reinterpret it through the specific axiological lens of Argentine philosopher Risieri Frondizi. The text begins with an analysis of Wolf's theory and progresses to examining various axiological strands, culminating in the adoption of Frondizi's approach, which is then applied to the final interpretation of Wolf's answer to the question of life's meaning.
