practice, and to this end the general epistemologies of Logical Positivism, Thomas Kuhn and Imre Lakatos are discussed. The aim is to establish points of agreement and of disagreement between these views related to scientific practice as a process of creation and investigation, filled with errors that need to be rectified in order to find a posture capable of relating more adequately with contemporary science. Bachelard proposes to abandon extremes and believes that only by adopting a posture that lies between extreme rationalism and naive realism can we come close to an approach more befitting with scientific practice. The Epistemology of Bachelard points to an approach less elitists and more in agreement with the horizontality needed for and by the exercise of science. Here we bring elements that allow us to orient the established relation between the human and the world towards which attention and

subjective elements are directed.
