RESUMO:

      The aim of this dissertation is to analyze the relationship between the concepts of unsociable sociability and teleology in Kantian practical philosophy. This analysis is based primarily on texts such as the Idea of a Universal History with a Cosmopolitan Purpose (1784) and the Critique of the Faculty of Judgment (1790). For Kant, to think sociability unsociable from a teleological perspective is to realize that nature does nothing in vain. Since it has endowed man with reason and a dynamic and antagonistic human nature, he must develop his dispositions which aim at the use of reason and thus corroborate so that the terminal end of rational beings becomes effective in the world. This is nothing more than man himself under moral laws, that is, the purpose proposed by the teleological perspective is morality. Therefore, to expose this positioning the argumentation of the dissertation is divided into three chapters. The first objective is to analyze the concept of unsociable sociability and its dimensions. The second exposes the concept of teleology in its theoretical aspect, just as teleology thinks in its practical aspect, and finally, the third chapter, is responsible for analyzing the relationship between social antagonism and practical teleology giving focus on the discipline unsociable sociability through law and education.
