RESUMO:

It is common to use the inversion of crosswell seismic tomography data in the characterization of geological structures and for the monitoring of fluid in oil reservoirs or environmental monitoring. However, when the geological structures have subvertical delimiting dips or faces, the crosswell seismic tomography has low illumination, causing geologically non-realistic estimates of the structures. To overcome this limitation, we propose to carry out the simultaneous and simultaneous inversion of electrical resistance tomography data and seismic tomography data. In order to stabilize the estimates, it will be used the with cross-gradient resistivity and velocity constraints. The preliminary results obtained with synthetic models showed that, in addition to circumventing the problem of low illumination of the crosswell seismic tomography, the simultaneous inversion provides a significant gain in the resolution of geological structures.
