Abstract: In order to reflect on the unfolding of the coronavirus pandemic in the remaining quilombo communities in Pará, this dissertation seeks to analyze the use of information technologies and digital media of the State Coordination of Associations of Remaining Communities of Quilombo (Malungu) to face the covid-19 pandemic, in the remaining quilombo communities in Pará. Since the arrival of the disease in these communities, recorded in April 2020, the use of these technological devices has intensified among the quilombolas, with the aim of promoting the fight against the disease and Malungu's political activism. In this sense, the research focuses on: 1) description of Malungu's collective action; 2) the informational content that was disseminated through social media to the quilombolas; 3) the different campaigns during the pandemic period. 4) film analysis of the documentary film “Nós Por Nós: Narrativas da covid-19 nos Quilombos Do Pará”.
