SUMMARY:

To understand the process of returning to the countryside and belonging and struggle for land in Cairo, I will analyze the film “Recampesinización - Salvando el Campo” (2018), a film in which I participated as a director of photography. This participation in the documentary is also a reason for the choice of the theme, as it had a close relationship and friendship with the director and producer of the documentary, in addition to being a topic of great importance for thinking about the process of peace, coexistence and reparation for victims in Colombia . In other words, this work seeks to think of film as a field, as well as to think of film beyond the screen. Furthermore, we try to think of the film as an experience (SCOTT, 1999) (MAGNANI, 2005) (PEIRANO, 2014). Where not only one seeks to interrogate the films and follow their tracks, but also to think of participatory audiovisual as a liberating methodology (BAEZ, 2020). I also see the importance of reflecting on the studies of visual anthropology in rural areas with the help of Marta Rodriguez, as well as the interest of the Cairo community to put the image and the audiovisual on.
