n the last five years, Brazil has gone through two major health crises that directly affected women and brought discussions about the paradigms around the concept of care. Political actions to fight the Zika Virus epidemic, which mainly affected the Northeast of Brazil, and the coronavirus pandemic are phenomena that, related to socioeconomic inequalities, make public policies favorable to women's reproductive rights invisible. In this article, I seek to follow the care itineraries (Bonet, 2014) of mothers of children with microcephaly who were affected by the Zika virus in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, understanding their joints during the Covid-19 pandemic. The survey is being built remotely through interviews and participant observation using Instagram and Whatsapp applications. Based on the reflections of Denise Pimenta (2020), who reports the figure of women as the link responsible for the articulation of the most diverse forms of care, the vision of the pandemic as a thing for women is consolidated. This connection of care with the disease, which expands through the contagion of the virus throughout the country, highlights the narratives of care focused on women and on the double/triple social roles they acquire in emergency and vulnerability situations.
