SUMMARY:

This research aims to study the life narratives of homosexual boys who lived in the city of Natal/RN and continue to establish an intense circulation in other urban centers in Rio Grande do Norte/Brazil, mainly taking into account the interior/capital dynamics present in the local imagination. Therefore, I resort to the focus of memories and the production of life narratives as possibilities for building frames of experiences in which the act of moving between cities enables the subjective construction of subjects with regard to instrument a look at the experiences of a gay subjectivity, family relationships, insertion in the university space and reframe of homosexuality itself. It is possible to understand the way in which young homosexuals evaluate their own trajectory and build their narratives by triggering one or another event, defining what can be called building the past. Then, I used open interviews defined only by means of indexers (or keywords) that served to guide friends-interlocutors in the development of their life histories. This research included the interview with six friends-interlocutors selected for their bonds of friendship with the researcher. From this, it is noted that the displacements in their various effects, allowed to redefine of family ties and their projection on the individual and/or collective life projects. The relationship with the University and its Student Assistance Policies are highlighted due to its importance as a key point of permanence in Higher Education and, consequently, of the experience with the metropolitan space.
