SUMMARY:

The research in progress presents an ethnographic study with people living with HIV in Rio Grande do Norte, based on the individual and collective actions of these people by therapeutic policies that are more embracing, constant and modelable to different social contexts. It was accomplished A review of the literature on the subject, historical research of the North Tribune Journal (1979 to 1987), analysis of epidemiological bulletins and other digital news networks, as well as observations in public assembly, parades and brief experiences of mobilization in social digital networks. It is known that with the growing implementation of biomedical prevention and care technologies: Treatment as Prevention (TcP), Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post-exposure (PEP), there is also a centralization of antiretroviral therapy (ART) of other strategies such as male circumcision and the traditional use of condoms. On the other hand, denunciations made on news portals and on issues raised by the interlocutors show a growing instability in the state's treatment network in terms of therapeutic policies for AIDS response and drug stock management. It is important to understand that the temporary (or permanent) suspension of ART treatment, according to interlocutors and the consulted literature, can pose great risks for people living with HIV. Issues such as the biomedicalization of health, structural violence, care logic in neoliberal dynamics, biossocial rights projects and the promotion of citizenship through treatment are at stake. In this sense, this work seeks to understand the dissonances, noises and disputes inscribed in the narratives promoted by the interlocutors to the epidemic response in Rio Grande do Norte.
