RESUMO:

The development of more selective and sensitive analytical methods is of great relevance in different areas of knowledge, including, for example, the food, biotechnology, environmental and pharmaceutical sectors. Electrochemical sensors have been of interest for quantification of drug compounds and pesticides due to low cost, rapid data acquisition, sensitivity and selectivity. For this reason, the objective of this project is to synthesize electrodes of modified carbon paste with cork and pure cork electrodes in order to evaluate the application for quantification of caffeine and glyphosate. The quantification of these substances becomes necessary because caffeine is the oldest psychoactive drug consumed that must be ingested in adequate dosage, and on the other hand the increase in the consumption of glyphosate has been a source of concern of the present society of this contaminant in the medium environment. Thus, the present work is justified by evaluating the application of electrochemical sensors for the monitoring through the application of electroanalytical techniques.
