RESUMO:

The oil reservoirs are underground and have the oil and gas contained in the porous rock at high temperatures and pressures. Although the characterization and fractioning of crude oil are well known and studied, each oil sample represents a unique multicomponent system, so an individual study of the sample is required. A sample of condensate gas (CG) and other of light crude oil (LP) were studied and a full package of analysis, such density, viscosity, ASTM distillation and fractioning, were performed in order to describe the samples. Synthetic visual and non-visual methods for high pressure phase behavior of the systems were applied and it could be observed the agreement of the results between the two experimental methods. Phase envelope calculations were developed based on pseudo-components obtained by ASTM distillation and density values using Adachi-Lu-Sugie equation of state (ALS EOS) with van der Waals mixing rule for the interaction parameter (k_ij) from the literature.
